Privacy Policy — Badges by Codeja

Badges by Codeja ("the App") is developed by Codeja Infotech ("we", "us"). This policy describes what information the App handles when installed on a Shopify store.

What we store

When you install the App, we store only: your store's .myshopify.com domain; a session record used to authenticate your store with Shopify; the date the App was installed and whether you dismissed our in-app banner. That is the complete list. The App requests no access to customer data, orders, or products (it requests zero Shopify permissions), and therefore never sees, stores, or processes any personal information about your customers.

What we don't do

We do not collect, store, or process customer personal data. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising tools — in the App or in the storefront badges. We do not sell or share any data with third parties. The badges shown in your storefront are served by Shopify's own infrastructure and make no requests to our servers or any third party.

Data removal

When you uninstall the App, Shopify notifies us and we delete your store's records automatically. We also honor Shopify's mandatory data-deletion webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact): since we hold no customer data, data-request responses are empty by design, and shop-redaction removes everything we hold about the store.
