Quicky Privacy Policy
1. The Short Version
Quicky does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Quicky is a native macOS menu-bar app by Codeja Infotech. It runs entirely on your Mac — your shortcuts, Sets, and settings live only on your device and never leave it.
2. Data We Collect
None. Quicky has no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. We do not have a server that receives information about you or how you use the app.
3. Your Files
Quicky does not read the contents of your files. When you pin a file, folder, or app, macOS provides a secure "bookmark" that lets Quicky reopen exactly the item you chose — Quicky stores only that bookmark, nothing about the file's contents. Web links you add open in your default browser; Quicky does not track which links you open.
4. Network Use
The Mac App Store version of Quicky makes no network connections at all. The direct-download version makes exactly one kind of request: when you enter a license key, Quicky contacts our licensing provider to verify it. That request contains only the license key — never your identity, your files, or your shortcuts — and is used solely to confirm your purchase.
5. Third Parties
Quicky bundles one open-source component (the KeyboardShortcuts library, used to record your global shortcut) which runs entirely on-device and sends nothing anywhere. License validation for the direct version is handled by our payment/licensing provider, who receives only the license key you enter at activation.
6. Your Rights
Because Quicky collects nothing, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete — your data is only ever on your own Mac. Removing the app removes its stored shortcuts. If you have any questions about this policy, email us at support@codejainfotech.com.
